Apple Podcasts and Spotify recently announced their selection for 2020’s biggest new shows and their top must listen favourites.

According to downloads on the Apple podcast platform, “Chasing Charlie” was one of the biggest new shows in both Australia and in New Zealand.

The ‘biggest’ lists are drived by the Apple Podcast charts, which encompass a mix of new subscriptions, playback activity and completion rate; ratings and reviews aren’t factored into these charts. Eligible shows were those with multiple episodes available on December 1.

Apple also named Chasing Charlie as one of their most favourite podcasts in 2020. This is picked by their internal staff.

Spotify released their best of 2020 list, naming Chasing Charlie as one of the “Best True Crime” podcasts this year. Overall, it was the 8th most listened to True Crime podcast of the year on the Aus platform.
